The latest data from China's customs shows that in December 2025, China imported 67.8 tons of epichlorohydrin, marking a month-on-month increase of 76.6% and a year-on-year rise of 138.2%. The average import price stood at $1,583.8 per ton, down 4.5% month-on-month but up 16.1% year-on-year. China exported 2,601.5 tons of epichlorohydrin in December, down 31.8% month-on-month and 21.1% year-on-year. The average export price was USD 1,619.8 per ton, decreasing 4.6% month-on-month but increasing 33.9% year-on-year.
From January to December 2025, China's total imports of epichlorohydrin reached 621.1 tons, down 4.0% year-on-year. Total exports during the same period amounted to 71,166.1 tons, a decrease of 15.6% year-on-year. From January to December 2025, South Korea, India, Taiwan Province of China, Thailand, and Brazil accounted for the top five export destinations, collectively shipping 62,671.8 tons, representing 88.1% of total exports. Exports to South Korea reached 26,464.3 tons (37.2%); India: 24,926.7 tons (35.0%); Taiwan Province of China: 4,533.4 tons (6.4%); Thailand: 4,430.0 tons (6.2%); Brazil: 2,318.4 tons (3.3%).
