The closing price of the MTBE market in the United States increased by $15.72/ton compared to the previous trading day, and the FOB Gulf offshore price closed at $705.70-706.05/ton (199.26-199.36 cents/gallon).

On January 28th, MTBE production companies in Shandong Province raised their quotations. Shandong Chengtai New Materials MTBE is currently not providing a quotation. Lihua Yilijin Petrochemical's MTBE quotation has been raised by 30 RMB/ton to 4,880 RMB/ton. Shandong Shenchi Chemical MTBE does not currently provide a quotation. Shida Shenghua's MTBE quotation has been raised by 30 RMB/ton to 4,900 RMB/ton. Dongming Qianhai Chemical's MTBE price is 4,850 RMB/ton, bidding.
