Customs statistics indicate that China imported 4,776.0 tons of antimony ore and concentrates in December 2025, marking a 31.0% month-on-month increase and a 130.8% year-on-year rise. Cumulative imports from January to December totaled 37,488.5 tons, reflecting a 26.6% year-on-year decline.

By country, antimony ore and concentrate imports from January to December primarily originated from Russia, Myanmar, Peru, Bolivia, Thailand, and other regions: Myanmar: 8,775.6 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%; Peru: 4,797.7 tons, a year-on-year increase of 494.9%; Bolivia: 2,503.5 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 53.3%; Thailand: 2,357.8 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 83.6%.

II. Significant Decline in China's Major Antimony Product Exports Throughout 2025

Customs statistics indicate that China's antimony oxide exports in December 2025 reached 382.3 tons, a 26.6% increase month-on-month but a 61.1% decrease year-on-year. From January to December, antimony oxide exports totaled 5,898.0 tons, down 80.6% year-on-year.

By destination, exports from January to December were primarily shipped to Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Canada, and Russia: Canada: 668.0 tons, up 11.3% year-on-year; Russia: 655.0 tons, down 30.0% year-on-year.

Regarding unprocessed antimony exports, China exported 40.0 tons in December 2025, unchanged from November data. No unprocessed antimony exports were recorded during the same period in 2025. From January to December, exports of unwrought antimony totaled 407.0 tons, down 89.4% year-on-year.

By country, from January to December 2025, China exported unwrought antimony to: Japan: 100.0 tons, down 87.7% year-on-year; Thailand: 62.0 tons, with no exports to Thailand during the same period last year; Belgium: 25.0 tons, down 92.4% year-on-year.
