The average domestic price of isopropanol at the beginning of the week was 5,350 RMB/ton, and the average price at the end of the week was 5,533.33 RMB/ton, representing an increase of 3.43%.

Market analysis

Last week, the market price of isopropanol increased. The price of the raw material acetone rose, providing strong cost support. Manufacturers raised their quotations, and holders were less willing to sell at lower prices. Market confidence in isopropanol was strong, and downstream buyers purchased mainly on a needs basis, with active inquiries but cautious purchasing. As of January 23, most quotations for isopropanol in Shandong province were around 5,400-5,500 RMB/ton; most quotations in Jiangsu province were around 5,500-5,700 RMB/ton.
