The average export price was 658.29 US dollars/ton, a decrease of 3.72% month on month. The largest export volume was to Singapore, at 178,100 tons, with an average export price of 623.02 US dollars per ton.

In December 2025, the import volume of MTBE was 0.03 million tons, an increase of 96.15% month on month and a decrease of 4.53% year-on-year.

The cumulative export volume for the whole year of 2025 is 4.9894 million tons, an increase of 2.5041 million tons or 100.76% compared to the same period last year.

The significant increase in MTBE exports indicates strong demand in the international market. This may lead to a reduction in domestic supply and put upward pressure on spot prices, which is a significant positive development.
