The average price of edible first grade corn starch at the beginning of the week was 2,796.00 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 2,802.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.21% during the week.

Entering mid January, the domestic corn market prices continued to rise, supported by a slight rebound in raw material costs, and the domestic corn starch market prices rebounded slightly.

The corn starch product analyst of SunSirs believes that the end of the year is the peak season for traditional starch demand, and with the support of cost recovery, it is expected that the domestic corn starch market price will still have some room for recovery.
