According to customs statistics, in November 2025, China exported 0.5 million tons of trichloroethylene, a month-on-month increase of 134.9% and a year-on-year increase of 79.1%; from January to November 2025, China's cumulative exports of trichloroethylene reached 3.5 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%. In November 2025, China exported 0.7 million tons of tetrachloroethylene, a month-on-month increase of 259.9% and a year-on-year increase of 227.3%; from January to November 2025, China's cumulative exports of tetrachloroethylene reached 4.5 million tons, an increase of 120.3% compared with the same period last year.
From January to November 2025, an analysis of export destinations shows that China's trichloroethylene was mainly exported to India, the United States, Japan, Russia, and South Korea, accounting for 23.3%, 20.3%, 14.0%, 6.1%, and 3.9% respectively; while China's tetrachloroethylene was mainly exported to the UAE, Russia, Turkey, Mexico, and India, accounting for 54.2%, 7.1%, 4.4%, 3.8%, and 3.5% respectively.
