The main sources of imports were: Taiwan, China (451.9 tons, accounting for 57.7%) and Japan (312.3 tons, accounting for 39.9%). In November 2025, China exported 3,088.5 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a year-on-year increase of 146.1%. The main export destinations were: Indonesia (920.0 tons, accounting for 29.8%), Guinea (920.0 tons, accounting for 29.8%), and Australia (250.2 tons, accounting for 8.1%).

From January to November 2025, China imported 7,350.2 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a decrease of 8.4% year-on-year. The main sources of imports were: Taiwan, China (4,822.2 tons, accounting for 65.6%) and Japan (2,358.3 tons, accounting for 32.1%). From January to November 2025, China exported 28,035.4 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), an increase of 76.3% year-on-year. The main destinations for exports were: Indonesia (7,943.9 tons, accounting for 28.3%), Cambodia (3,977.8 tons, accounting for 14.2%), and Guinea (3,784.6 tons, accounting for 13.5%).
