Last week, domestic ammonium sulfate market prices rose. The operating rate of coking-grade ammonium sulfate remained stable, while the operating rate of caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate decreased, leading to a reduction in market supply. The rise in urea prices last week also indirectly benefited the ammonium sulfate market. Market demand for ammonium sulfate remained stable, and trading activity improved. However, downstream buyers remained cautious, primarily focusing on purchasing at lower prices.

Market Situation

As of January 12th, the mainstream ex-factory price for coking-grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong province was around 910 RMB/ton. The mainstream ex-factory price for caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong province was around 1,020-1,070 RMB/ton.

Market Outlook
