According to the latest customs data, China imported 16,500 metric tons of propylene oxide in November 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 16.0%. Major import sources were: Saudi Arabia (9,000 metric tons, accounting for 54.7%); Thailand (7,500 metric tons, accounting for 45.3%). In November 2025, China exported 300 metric tons of propylene oxide, marking a 25.4% year-on-year increase. Major export destinations included the United Arab Emirates (200 metric tons, 72.5% share) and Thailand (50 metric tons, 20.0% share).
From a regional perspective on imports and exports, China imported 123,800 metric tons of propylene oxide from January to November 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 48.6%. Major import sources: Thailand 62,200 metric tons (50.2%); Saudi Arabia 33,800 metric tons (27.3%); United States 19,100 metric tons (15.4%). From January to November 2025, China exported 9,200 metric tons of propylene oxide, a year-on-year decrease of 30.2%. Export destinations included: South Korea (4,400 metric tons, 47.6% share); India (2,000 metric tons, 21.6% share); and Japan (1,500 metric tons, 16.2% share).
