According to China Customs statistics, in October 2025, China imported 185.8 tons of chloroacetic acid, a month-on-month decrease of 2.4% and a year-on-year increase of 30.3%. Exports totaled 4,977.0 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 20.0% and a year-on-year decrease of 38.8%.
From January to October this year, China's cumulative imports of chloroacetic acid totaled 1,538.9 tons, down 31.9% year-on-year, while cumulative exports reached 52,535.3 tons, down 12.2% year-on-year.
From January to October 2025, China's chloracetic acid imports primarily originated from Germany (696.4 tons, 45.3% share), the Netherlands (504.0 tons, 32.8% share), and Japan (179.8 tons, 11.7% share). China's chloracetic acid exports were primarily destined for Turkey (12,400.8 tons), Mexico (7,409.2 tons), and Indonesia (5,190.0 tons), accounting for 23.6%, 14.1%, and 9.9% of total exports respectively.
