According to the latest statistical data, China imported 89,000 metric tons of cotton in October 2025, representing a month-on-month decrease of 6.28% and a year-on-year decline of 15.81%.

From January to October 2025, China's cumulative cotton imports reached 770,000 metric tons, down 67.46% year-on-year.

For the 2025/26 marketing year, China's cumulative cotton imports reached 184,000 metric tons, down 17.51% year-on-year.

According to the latest statistics, China imported 141,200 metric tons of cotton yarn in October 2025, marking a month-on-month increase of 10.56% and a year-on-year rise of 13.54%. Cotton yarn exports totaled 25,900 metric tons, reflecting a month-on-month decrease of 9.90% and a year-on-year decline of 8.72%. The net import volume reached 115,300 metric tons, up 16.51% month-on-month and 20.13% year-on-year.

From January to October 2025, China's cumulative cotton yarn imports totaled 117.78 million tons, down 5.34% year-on-year, while cumulative exports reached 28.15 million tons, up 15.46% year-on-year.

During the 2025/26 season, China's cumulative cotton yarn imports amounted to 26.90 million tons, up 14.24% year-on-year, while cumulative exports reached 5.47 million tons, up 5.87% year-on-year.

According to the latest statistics, in October 2025, China imported 38 million meters of cotton fabric, a month-on-month increase of 3.81% and a year-on-year increase of 1.26%. Exports reached 546 million meters, a month-on-month increase of 2.33% but a year-on-year decrease of 1.85%. The net export volume was 508 million meters, a month-on-month increase of 2.22% but a year-on-year decrease of 2.07%.

From January to October 2025, China's cumulative cotton fabric imports reached 331 million meters, up 4.38% year-on-year; cumulative exports totaled 5.226 billion meters, rising 8.51% year-on-year.

During the 2025/26 marketing year, China's cumulative cotton fabric imports amounted to 74 million meters, increasing 8.74% year-on-year; cumulative exports reached 1.079 billion meters, growing 5.39% year-on-year.
