According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's caustic soda production (calculated as 100%) reached 3.897 million tons in October 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. From January to October 2025, China's caustic soda production (calculated as 100%) totaled 38.241 million tons, up 4.6% year-on-year.

Upstream, China's raw salt production in October reached 6.314 million tons, down 1.8% year-on-year. From January to October, raw salt production totaled 51.459 million tons, decreasing 1.2% year-on-year.

Downstream, China's alumina production in October was 7.865 million tons, up 5.8% year-on-year. From January to October, alumina production reached 76.344 million tons, increasing 8.0% year-on-year. In October, China's production of machine-made paper and paperboard (excluding processing of externally purchased base paper) reached 14.346 million tons, up 5.9% year-on-year. From January to October, production totaled 135.156 million tons, up 3.5% year-on-year. China's fabric output in October reached 2.62 billion meters, down 6.4% year-on-year. From January to October, fabric output totaled 25.37 billion meters, down 4.5% year-on-year. China's synthetic detergent output in October was 1.098 million tons, down 1.1% year-on-year. From January to October, synthetic detergent output reached 9.822 million tons, up 1.5% year-on-year.
