According to the latest customs data, China imported 1,750.1 tons of trichloromethane in October 2025, a month-on-month decrease of 6.1%. Exports totaled 124.0 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 36.1% but a year-on-year increase of 106.7%. The export price was $356.2 per ton, a month-on-month decrease of 6.0%. From January to October 2025, China imported 5,188.7 tons of trichloromethane, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%, while exports totaled 1,634.6 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 20.0%.
By export destination, South Korea, Brazil, Ukraine, Iran, and Argentina accounted for the top five export markets from January to October 2025, with combined shipments of 1,614.9 tons representing 98.8% of total exports.
