India produced 13.6 million tons, up 5.9%.
Japan produced 6.9 million tons, down 1.0%.
South Korea produced 5.1 million tons, down 5.8%.
Iran produced 3.3 million tons, up 12.0%.
Turkey's output reached 3.2 million tons, up 3.1%.
The 27 EU member states produced 10.8 million tons, down 3.5%. Within this group, Germany's output was 3.1 million tons, down 3.0%.
Russia's output was 5.3 million tons, down 6.2%.
The United States produced 7 million tons, up 9.4%.
Brazil's output was 3 million tons, down 2.7%.
