According to data from the SunSirs' commodity market analysis system, since November, negative factors have persisted, and the domestic adipic acid market has continued to weaken. On November 1st, the average market price of adipic acid was 6,966 RMB/ton, and on November 21st, the average market price was 6,766 RMB/ton, a decrease of 2.87%.

Market Analysis

Since November, the prices of cyclohexanone and benzene, raw materials for adipic acid, have been weak, offering limited support. Downstream demand has declined, leading to a decrease in adipic acid market transactions and a drop in ex-factory prices. As of November 21st, the mainstream market price in Shandong was around 6,800 RMB/ton, and in Jiangsu it was 6,700 RMB/ton. The domestic average price fell to 6,700 RMB/ton, a decrease of 100 RMB/ton, representing a drop of nearly 3%. 

Market outlook

According to analysts at SunSirs, adipic acid prices remains weak at the end of November, with sluggish demand from downstream industries and limited upward momentum in raw material prices. The adipic acid market is expected to continue its downward trend.
