According to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the production and sales volume of automobiles in China reached 3.359 million and 3.322 million respectively in October, an increase of 2.5% and 3% month on month, and a year-on-year increase of 12.1% and 8.8%, respectively. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.772 million and 1.715 million respectively, an increase of 21.1% and 20% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 51.6% of the total sales of new cars.
