According to Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Network, polysilicon N-type re-melt feedstock was quoted at 49.4-55 yuan/kg over the weekend, with the N-type polysilicon price index at 52 yuan/kg. Granular polysilicon was quoted at 50-51 yuan/kg, with polysilicon prices remaining stable over the weekend. Further price adjustments may be forthcoming, with upstream and downstream polysilicon transactions gradually decreasing as market participants adopt a wait-and-see approach.
Domestic polysilicon output in November is projected to approach 120,000 tons, representing a significant month-on-month decline from October, largely due to extensive production halts in Sichuan and Yunnan regions.
Module production schedules are expected to decrease in November. Some module manufacturers already reduced operating rates last week, with this month's module output anticipated to drop by nearly 2GW.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on November 12, the benchmark price of polysilicon on SunSirs was 52,000.00 RMB/ton, unchanged from the beginning of the month.
