According to data from the SunSirs' commodity market analysis system, in early November, multiple negative factors persisted, leading to a decline in the domestic adipic acid market. On November 1st, the average market price of adipic acid was 6,966 RMB/ton, and on November 5th, the average domestic market price of adipic acid was 6,933 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.48%.

Negative factors pressured domestic adipic acid prices down

In early November, the prices of cyclohexanone and benzene, raw materials for adipic acid, remained weak. Downstream demand was sluggish, resulting in generally low transaction volumes in the adipic acid market. Manufacturers lowered their ex-factory prices, leading to a continued weakening of the adipic acid market. As of November 5th, the mainstream market price in Shandong was around 6,900 RMB/ton, and in Jiangsu it was 6,700 RMB/ton. The average domestic market price fell to 6,900 RMB/ton, a decrease of 100 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

According to analysts at SunSirs, in mid-November, the rigid demand from end-user industries will decline, raw material prices weakens, and the adipic acid market is unlikely to see further price increases.
