According to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Silicon Branch: Market activity for polysilicon remained subdued this week with overall trading volume thin. Statistics indicate that transaction prices for n-type polysilicon re-melt feedstock ranged from 49,000 to 55,000 yuan per metric ton, with an average transaction price of 53,200 yuan per metric ton—unchanged from the previous week. The transaction price range for n-type granular silicon was ¥50,000-51,000/ton, with an average transaction price of ¥50,500/ton, unchanged from the previous week.
According to the Silicon Industry Branch, there are currently 11 domestic polysilicon producers in operation. October's domestic polysilicon output reached approximately 137,000 tons, marking a 6.2% month-on-month increase and exceeding expectations by 5.4%. This growth primarily resulted from some enterprises slightly raising operating rates within limited capacity to spread costs as the fourth quarter commenced.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on October 30, SunSirs' polysilicon benchmark price stood at ¥52,000.00/ton, unchanged from the beginning of the month.
