Alumina exports reached 250,000 metric tons in September, up 82.2% year-on-year. Cumulative alumina exports for the year totaled 2 million metric tons, a 61.8% increase year-on-year.

Imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to 360,000 metric tons in September, rising 35.4% year-on-year. Cumulative imports for the year reached 3.01 million metric tons, up 5.7% year-on-year.

September imports of bauxite and its concentrates reached 15.88 million tons, up 38.3% year-on-year. Cumulative annual imports of bauxite and its concentrates totaled 157.31 million tons, up 32% year-on-year.
