On October 15, the mainstream delivery price of 1,3-butadiene in Shandong region was 8,550-8,600 RMB/ton, and the ex-tank self-pickup price in East China was 8,250-8,300 RMB/ton.

Auction and sales results of some domestic 1,3-butadiene companies on October 15:

Fushun Petrochemical's 160,000 ton/year 1,3-butadiene unit is operating normally. It will be shut down for maintenance starting August 14th, with no plans for export sales. It is expected to restart in October.

Dongming Petrochemical's 50,000 ton/year 1,3-butadiene unit was operating normally, with 336 tons exported at a base price of 8,320 RMB/ton.

Satellite Chemical's 90,000 ton/year 1,3-butadiene unit at Lianyungang Petrochemical was operating normally, with a price reduction of 100 RMB/ton to 8,400 RMB/ton.

On October 15, Sinopec's sales companies offered 1,3-butadiene at 8,600 RMB/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day.

Some major refineries lowered their quotations, and the atmosphere of on-site negotiations was rather wait-and-see. The downstream synthetic rubber market trend was still relatively weak, purchasing intentions were relatively cautious, and the spot market trend was still mainly narrow fluctuations.
