According to the SunSirs commodity analysis system, hydrogen peroxide prices rebounded on September 1st, experiencing a volatile upward trend. The average price was 703 RMB/ton on September 1st, and rose to 743 RMB/ton on September 26th, a 5.69% increase.

Good news hit, hydrogen peroxide prices continued to rise

Starting in September, demand in the printing and papermaking industries declined. Some hydrogen peroxide manufacturers were still shutting down for maintenance, resulting in reduced supply pressure and a volatile market. As a result, hydrogen peroxide prices remained weak, driven by a volatile market. As of September 4th, the average domestic market price had fallen to around 690 RMB/ton. Market transactions were generally sluggish, and the market was declining.

In the second week of September, demand in the printing and papermaking industries improved, leading to increased orders for hydrogen peroxide manufacturers. Market transactions improved, sales increased, and supply temporarily tightened, halting the decline and rebounding. Due to the gradual restart of some manufacturers, the price of hydrogen peroxide had seen limited price increases, with an overall increase of 20-30 RMB/ton. As of September 16, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide rose to around 710 RMB/ton, an increase of over 3% from the price on September 8th.

In late September, fueled by strong demand from end-users, hydrogen peroxide market transactions improved, prices continued to rise, and the average domestic price of hydrogen peroxide rose to around 740 RMB/ton, an increase of over 4%.

Market outlook

SunSirs' hydrogen peroxide analysts believe that after the National Day holiday, demand in the terminal printing and papermaking industries will increase, and the supply of hydrogen peroxide will become tighter, so the market outlook will still be mainly upward.
