The price of isooctanol fluctuated and fell 

According to the SunSirs commodity market analysis system, as of September 22, the price of isooctanol was 6,983.33 RMB/ton, a 0.95% decrease from the price of 7,050 RMB/ton on September 14. Last week, isooctanol plant operations remained stable at a high level, with the utilization rate remaining stable at 96%. New isooctanol production capacity was added, leading to an increase in isooctanol supply. Downstream plasticizer plants maintained stable operations, but demand for isooctanol from plasticizers was limited, and with increased supply supporting limited demand, the price of isooctanol fluctuated downward.

Downstream plasticizer DOP prices fluctuated and fell

According to the SunSirs commodity market analysis system, as of September 22, the price of DOP was 7,450.84 RMB/ton, a 0.78% decrease from the price of 7,509.16 RMB/ton on September 15. This volatile decline in DOP prices was due to DOP companies operating at high levels, which was supporting the demand for isooctanol and the price of isooctanol.

Future outlook:

Analysts of SunSirs believe that on the supply side, isooctanol manufacturers were operating at high capacity, and coupled with new isooctanol production capacity, the supply was sufficient. On the demand side, DOP prices were fluctuating downward, and isooctanol demand was limited. In the future market, the increase in isooctanol supply will provide limited demand support, and the price of isooctanol is expected to consolidate weakly in the future market.
