Analysis review

Last week, the domestic titanium dioxide market was primarily experiencing consolidation. As of September 19, demand was generally weak, with trading activity relatively quiet and downstream buyers showing little enthusiasm. Raw material prices remained relatively strong, and companies were offering strong prices despite cost pressures. Tianyuan, Taihai, and Guocheng had all announced price increases, but most titanium companies were still waiting and watching, and actual price formation would take some time. As of September 19, the domestic quotation for sulfuric acid based rutile type titanium dioxide was mostly between 13,200 and 14,200 RMB/ton; the quotation for anatase titanium dioxide was around 11,700 and 12,500 RMB/ton. Actual transaction prices were negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

Market outlook
