Price trend
The domestic acetone market continued to decline in September. Prices in East China fell from 4,550 RMB/ton on September 1st to 4,450 RMB/ton on September 2nd, a drop of 100 RMB/ton. Acetone prices across the country fluctuated to similar levels.
Analysis review
The market was rich in spot supplies, but manufacturers were facing pressure to ship, while retailers were showing little interest in replenishing inventory, resulting in a noticeable lack of trading activity. Huizhou Zhongxin's Phase II plant had resumed operations, while Jiangsu Ruiheng's plant had been shut down for maintenance. Traders were showing strong interest in shipping, but actual orders were declining.

Market outlook
From the perspective of SunSirs, the pace of downstream purchasing at the beginning of the month was mainly small orders and just-in-time demand. Acetone will maintain a weak trend in the near term, awaiting changes in demand.
