According to the Information Statistics Department of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, From January to July 2025, 12,059 nonferrous metal industrial enterprises above designated size achieved a total profit of 256.66 billion RMB, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.2% (calculated on a comparable basis, same below). The growth rate narrowed by 0.8 percentage points compared to the first half of the year. Among these, enterprises in nonferrous metal mining and beneficiation achieved a total profit of 70.67 billion RMB, up 39.2%; Nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing enterprises achieved total profits of 185.99 billion RMB, up 6.9%.

From January to July, the 12,059 nonferrous metal industrial enterprises above designated size generated operating revenues of 5.62692 trillion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%. Among these, nonferrous metal mining and beneficiation enterprises achieved operating revenues of 232.35 billion RMB, up 13.6%; Nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing enterprises achieved operating revenues of 5,394.57 billion RMB, up 13.8%.

From January to July, the operating profit margin of 12,059 nonferrous metal industrial enterprises above designated size reached 4.56%, an increase of 0.02 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
