Prices remained the same or increased by 200 RMB/ton compared to last week. Prices vary depending on quality.
Autumn cocoons from Baise region began to enter the market this week. The estimated nationwide loading prices for frozen fresh pupae (quickly frozen without ice coating, 100% silkworm pupae content) this week are: Grade A around 9,300 RMB/ton, Grade B around 8,800 RMB/ton, Grades C and D around 6,300-7,300 RMB/ton, and fresh pupae (selected, unfrozen) in Yizhou District around 7,500-8,800 RMB/ton. Prices vary depending on quality.
Dry and wet pupae: Export acid value does not exceed 7000-7500 RMB/ton, domestic sales A grade 5700-6000 RMB/ton, B grade 4500-4800 RMB/ton, C grade 3500-4000 RMB/ton. Specific price is determined by quality.
