According to the SunSirs’ Commodity Market Analysis System, domestic adipic acid prices have been rising since August, driven by favorable factors. Following this surge, prices have gradually stabilized. On August 1, the average price of adipic acid was 7,233 RMB/ton. On August 14, the average price was 7,300 RMB/ton, a 0.92% increase.

With all the positive factors out, the domestic adipic acid markets gradually stabilized

In early August, rising prices for adipic acid raw materials, benzene and cyclohexanone, supported by increased terminal demand, drove adipic acid prices up, reaching 7,300 RMB/ton, a nearly 1% increase. By mid-August, the support from raw material prices was limited, and terminal demand declined. Following the initial surge, adipic acid prices stabilized, remaining at 7,300 RMB/ton with no fluctuations.

Future outlook:

SunSirs’ adipic acid analysts believe that in late August, rigid demand in the terminal industry is sluggish, raw material prices tend to stabilize, and the adipic acid market is expected to lack power for rise in the future.
