Downstream demand was weak, leading to cautious stocking at the end of the market and limited new orders. As of August 8, the domestic quotation for sulfuric acid based rutile type titanium dioxide was mostly between 12,900 and 13,800 RMB/ton, The quotation for anatase titanium dioxide was around 11,600 to 11,900 RMB/ton. Actual transaction prices were negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
