According to the SunSirs’ commodity market analysis system, domestic adipic acid prices weakened in July, fluctuating downward. On July 1, the average domestic adipic acid market price was 7,366 RMB/ton. On July 28, the average domestic adipic acid market price was 7,066 RMB/ton, a 4.07% decrease.

Adipic acid prices fell in July due to negative factors

In early July, prices for adipic acid raw materials such as benzene and cyclohexanone weakened, leading to sluggish demand from the plastics industry and a decline in adipic acid manufacturer prices. Domestic adipic acid market activity remained subdued, with weak demand. As of July 11, the average price of adipic acid fell to around 7,133 RMB/ton, a decrease of over 3%.

Starting mid-month, the decline in adipic acid prices slowed, with prices declining slightly. From the 11th to the 22nd, the market price fell to around 7,000 RMB/ton, a drop of nearly 1%.

At the end of the month, raw material prices provided limited support, and demand from the end-use plastics industry was weak. Adipic acid manufacturer prices stabilized, and market demand was generally mediocre. The average market price of adipic acid fell to 7,066 RMB/ton, a decrease of 300 RMB/ton from the beginning of the month.

Future outlook:
