Shaanxi Guorong 60,000 tons/year BDO unit was shut down in mid-April 2024, and the restart time is not yet determined.
The third phase of Xinjiang Meike Chemical Industry's 100,000 tons of equipment is in operation, and the second phase of 100,000 tons of equipment stopped on April 3, 2025, with the restart time yet to be determined. Meike Chemical Industry's second phase natural gas acetylene maintenance for 25 days (planned maintenance time from May 27 to June 22), the first phase 60,000 tons/year, the fourth phase 100,000 tons/year, and the fifth phase 100,000 tons/year production lines have a slight decrease in overall load.
The 210,000 tons/year BDO unit of Xinjiang Tianye is heard to have shut down completely by the end of September, and the restart time is not yet determined.
Henan Energy Hebi Coal Chemical 100,000 tons/year BDO unit, the whole plant shut down for a major inspection on July 10, 2024, and the restart time is not yet determined.
Henan Kexiang's 110,000 tons BDO unit stopped completely on February 5th, and the restart time is uncertain. It mainly supplies PBT, PBAT and other downstream products for its own use and contracts, and there is no quotation for spot sales.
The three sets of BDO equipment in Inner Mongolia HuaHeng each have a capacity of 104,000 tons, one set is shut down, one set is stable operation; one set of BYD catalyst is being replaced from June 3, and it is expected to take 3 days.
Dalian Hengli's first 300,000 tons/year BDO unit is currently operating at around 70% load. The second 300,000 tons/year unit was shut down around March 11th.
The Inner Mongolia Sanwei 300,000 tons BDO unit has been temporarily shut down since June 3 due to a sudden equipment failure, and it is expected to be out for 7-15 days.
Xinjiang Xinye Phase I 60,000 tons and Phase II 140,000 tons equipment, which was shut down for a short period on June 20th for unknown reasons, has now been重启.
Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical has two sets of BDO production capacity of 100,000 tons/year, which are currently running steadily. BDO is mainly used for self-use and contracts, and spot offers are not available for the time being.
The 100,000 tons/year BDO unit of Yanchang Petroleum is under maintenance from April 6th to the end of April, and the product has been shipped recently with the load around 50%.
The 300,000 tons BDO unit of Inner Mongolia Junzhi stopped on June 22nd, and it is temporarily planned to start up on July 9th, with no quotations for BDO to the outside.
