On July 1st, the average market price of adipic acid was 7,366 RMB/ton. On July 15th, the average market price of adipic acid in China was 7,133 RMB/ton, a decrease of 3.17%.

Analysis review

At the beginning of July, the prices of benzene and cyclohexanone raw materials for adipic acid fell weakly, and the demand for terminal plastics industry was sluggish, resulting in an overall decline in prices for adipic acid manufacturers. The domestic adipic acid market had average transactions and a weak market. As of July 11th, the average market price of adipic acid had fallen to around 7,133 RMB/ton, with an overall decline of over 3%. Starting from July 12th, the market for adipic acid had gradually stabilized, with the price remaining at 7,100 RMB/ton without any fluctuations. In early July, the trend of adipic acid was mainly weak.

Future outlook:

An analyst from SunSirs believes that in late July, the rigid demand in the terminal industry is poor, and the boost to the raw material market is limited. Therefore, the market for adipic acid will continue to weaken in the future.
