Recently, due to geopolitical events, some countries have suspended production and restricted the production of urea. The global nitrogen fertilizer supply has decreased, and the international urea price has risen significantly, which indirectly benefited the ammonium sulfate market. Due to the continuous rise in ammonium sulfate prices, downstream particle manufacturers were actively purchasing.

Market conditions

As of June 24th, the mainstream ex factory quotation for coking grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong region was around 1,200 RMB/ton. Domestic grade ammonium sulfate, the mainstream ex factory quotation in Shandong region was around 1,300-1,450 RMB/ton.

Market outlook
