Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet rose first and then fell last week. On Friday (June 16th), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,110 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.652% compared to last week and a decrease of 16.32% compared to the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market was lukewarm, and market transactions were relatively weak.

Market outlook

Last Friday, the production of major varieties of steel reached 8.6851 million tons, an increase of 96,600 tons or 1.1% compared to the previous week; The total inventory was 13.3889 million tons, a decrease of 156,700 tons or 1.2% compared to the previous week; The weekly consumption was 8.8418 million tons, an increase of 1.9%.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continued to rise, their shipping mentality continued, and their offers remained strong at high levels. Last week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales had not yet been balanced, and inventory was accumulating. It is expected that the price of color coated sheets will remain stable in the short term.
