According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of color-coated sheets tended to stabilize last week. The market price of color-coated sheets was 6,633 RMB/ton on June 2, and 6,600 RMB/ton on June 6, a decrease of 0.497% from last week and an increase of 0.258% from the same period last year.

2. Analysis and comments

Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet fell slightly this week and then rebounded. On Friday (June 6), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,137 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.072% from last week and a decrease of 16.28% from the same period last year. The downstream demand of the coating and plating market was tepid, and the market transaction was weak.

3. Outlook for the future market

This week, the supply of the five major steel varieties was 8.8038 million tons, down 4,700 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 0.1%; the total inventory was 13.6381 million tons, down 17,900 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 0.1%; the apparent consumption was 8.8217 million tons, down 3.5% from the previous week.

Considering the coming of the off-season, although the costs of most factories continue to rise, the psychological state of shipment continues, and the quotations are high and firm. Last week, most domestic devices are operating normally, production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is slightly accumulated.

It is expected that the price of color-coated plates will be basically stable in the short term.
