According to monthly data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), palm oil inventories in Malaysia increased for the second consecutive month at the end of April, reaching a six-month high as production reached a 10-year high while domestic palm oil consumption declined.
The MPOB report shows that at the end of April, the palm oil inventory in Malaysia was 1.865 million tons, an increase of 19.37% compared to the previous month, reaching the highest inventory since October 2024.
