On May 6th, the commodity price index of propylene and isooctanol in SunSirs was 104.30 points, an increase of 3.39 points from the previous day, a decrease of 47.63% from the highest point of 199.16 points during the cycle (2020-04-13), and an increase of 119.67% from the lowest point of 47.48 points on August 8th, 2021. (Note: The period refers to January 1, 2012 to present).

Analysis review

The upstream propylene market fluctuated and consolidated, the cost support of isooctanol weakened, the downstream plasticizer market fell, and the downstream purchasing enthusiasm weakened. The support for the rise of isooctanol has weakened, and the downward pressure has increased.
