Price trend
On September 26, the commodity price index of propylene and 2-EH was 90.82 points, a decrease of 0.71 points from the previous day, a decrease of 54.40% from the highest point of the cycle at 199.16 points (2020-04-13), and an increase of 91.28% from the lowest point of 47.48 points on August 8, 2021. (Note: The period refers to January 1, 2012 to present).
According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of 2-EH in Shandong on September 27th was 8,300 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.40% compared to the previous trading day.
Analysis review
The upstream propylene market fluctuated and consolidated, the cost support of 2-EH weakened, the downstream plasticizer market rebounded, and the downstream purchasing enthusiasm was average. 2-EH had weak upward support and downward pressure still existed.
