February 01 2024 15:45:37SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of January 31, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 21,600.00 RMB/ton, which remained unchanged from the beginning of the month and increased by 16.76% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of January 31st, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 28,500.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 3.01% from the beginning of the month's price of 27,666.67 RMB/ton, and an increase of 16.33% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

In January, the domestic price of chloroform first fell and then rose, rising by 11.11% within the month. The price of hydrofluoric acid fluctuated weakly, falling by 3.31% within the month. The price of raw materials fluctuated forward, supported by low inventory of enterprises with low quotas, and the domestic R22 market price continued to remain strong in January.

In January, domestic hydrofluoric acid prices fluctuated weakly, falling by 3.31% within the month. The downward fluctuation in raw material costs did not have a suppressive effect on domestic R134a prices. Supported by low inventory of enterprises with quota bottoming out, some enterprises slightly increased the factory price of R134a in mid month, driving domestic R134a prices to remain stable and stronger in January.

In terms of raw materials, the domestic price of hydrofluoric acid continued to be weak, and the continuous decrease in raw material costs will have a certain suppression on the domestic refrigerant market prices in the future.

Market outlook

According to refrigerant analysts from SunSirs, inventory were low and downstream demand remained rigid. In the short term, the prices of R22 and R134a refrigerants in the domestic refrigerant market will continue to remain strong.
