According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the overall NMP market had been operating at a low level this week, with some cases experiencing a decrease below zero. As of Friday, the mainstream price for domestic bulk electronic grade NMP market was 12,200-12,800 RMB/ton. The BDO market on the raw material side was operating steadily at a low level. Due to the maintenance of some devices, the market supply had tightened, but downstream demand had not followed up enough, resulting in a stalemate and consolidation in the market. On the demand side of NMP, small orders were mainly purchased, and the enthusiasm for stocking up before holidays was not high. On the contrary, some factories were preparing for early shutdown and holidays, resulting in poor NMP sales.

Raw materials: The BDO market fluctuated narrowly. From January 12th to 19th, the average domestic BDO price increased from 9,535 RMB/ton to 9,550 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.15% during the cycle. Cost support was insufficient.

Market outlook

According to NMP analysts from SunSirs, the follow-up of downstream NMP was slow, and construction remained low. It is expected that the NMP market will be weak and difficult to improve in the near future.
