December 12 2023 12:16:13SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of December 8th, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 21,600.00 RMB/ton, which was unchanged from the beginning of the month and increased by 17.82% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of December 8th, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 27,666.67 RMB/ton, which was the same as the beginning of the month and an increase of 12.93% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

Entering December, the prices of upstream raw materials remained stable with a weak trend, supported by the relatively small quota surplus of enterprises. The mentality of enterprises to be reluctant to sell and raise prices remained unchanged. Downstream procurement was mainly on demand, and the domestic R22 market prices continued to remained stable and moved forward this week.

Entering December, the price of hydrofluoric acid continued to be weak, with a slight decrease in raw material costs. The reluctance of enterprises to sell and support prices had supported the stable progress of domestic R134a prices this week.

In terms of raw materials, the domestic price of hydrofluoric acid had risen and then fell, and it continued to operate weakly in December. The continuous decline in raw material prices will form a certain pressure on future refrigerant prices.

Market outlook

According to refrigerant analysts from SunSirs, as the end of the year approached, refrigerant companies had insufficient quota margins and their reluctance to sell at high prices remained unchanged. In the short term, the prices of domestic refrigerants R22 and R134a will continue to remain strong.
