According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of October 20th, the average price of domestic industrial grade premium cyclohexane was 7,566.67 RMB/ton, which was slightly stronger than the same period last week. The price had increased by 4.61% compared to the same period last week, and the overall market supply and demand were balanced, with manufacturers mainly selling at profit-cutting.

Analysis review

The market price of cyclohexane slightly increased, with the mainstream price around 7,566.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.61% compared to the same period last week. The quotation range of mainstream manufacturers remained around 7,500 RMB/ton, and downstream procurement was mainly on demand. The willingness to stock up was not strong, the demand was average, and upstream support was weak. Latest quotation from the enterprised: Jiangsu Renen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. quoted 7,200 RMB/ton, Wande (Shanghai) International Trade Co., Ltd. quoted 7,300 RMB/ton, Wuhan Jixin Yibang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. quoted 71,00 RMB/ton, and Shanghai Minyu New Material Technology Co., Ltd. quoted 8,000 RMB/ton.

Chemical Index: On October 18th, the chemical index stood at 919 points, a decrease of 2 points from the previous day, a decrease of 34.36% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 53.68% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8th, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
