On October 19th, the average market price of 250g gray base white board paper was 4,132.33 RMB/ton, a decrease of 3.13% from the average market price of 4,265.67 RMB/ton on October 15th.

By observing market changes, it can be seen that the price of white cardboard is still showing a replenishment trend this week. Encouraged by the rebound in demand, the implementation of the price increase for white cardboard continues, and some wait-and-see paper mills are following suit. After this round of increase, prices have stabilized and downstream demand is mainly based on demand. However, the upstream wood pulp prices have gradually stabilized and shown a downward trend recently, resulting in weak support for white cardboard prices.

The price of gray based white board paper has shown a decline, and with the end of the Double Festival holiday, the demand for white board paper in the downstream paper packaging market continues to decline. Therefore, in a state of oversupply, the price of white board paper continues to decline. In addition, some paper mills have high inventory of whiteboard paper, and in order to increase shipment volume, prices have also declined. At present, there is still a problem of insufficient market demand, so the increase in demand is limited, and most businesses still tend to be cautious.
