Price trend

Analysis review

In terms of cost, the price of domestic pure benzene market fluctuated and consolidated, and the spot transaction was 7,420-7,530 RMB/ton; Shandong market price was 7,240-7,420 RMB/ton. The cost of cyclohexanone was positive.

On the supply side, the operating rate of cyclohexanone industry units remained at around 60% this week, with a slight decrease in supply. The main production enterprise, Jining Zhongyin, was undergoing parking and maintenance; The coking plant in Shijiazhuang was shut down for maintenance. In the short term, the supply of cyclohexanone was slightly positive.

On the demand side, caprolactam was overhauled more recently, and the spot supply was relatively tight. However, as the price of cyclohexanone rose, there might be some resistance to the high price transaction. However, before the May Day holiday, overall downstream demand may be relatively good. The demand side of cyclohexanone was favorable and had a positive impact.

Market outlook

Pure benzene oscillates and operates with stable cost support. The circulation of cyclohexanone is relatively low, but the demand remains average for a short period of time.
