According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the zinc price was 23,312 RMB/ton as of February 9, down by 0.72% from the price of 23,482 RMB/ton on February 8 of the previous trading day. Demand remained weak, and zinc prices fell on February 9.
Analysis review
On February 8, LME zinc inventory was 19,425 tons, with an increase of 3,825 tons or 24.52%. The price of London zinc fell overnight, and the increase in domestic zinc smelting output was realized. The demand side was stronger in the expectation, but weaker in the reality.
Market outlook
The supply is expected to increase, while the demand is still weak, and the zinc price is expected to fall in shock in the future.
