According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on January 14, the price of ferrous metals rose in the first ten days of January 2023 compared with the last ten days of December 2022. The specific price changes are as follows:
The price of rebar was 4078.8 RMB/ton, up 86.2 RMB/ton or 2.2% from the previous period.
The wire rod price was 4307.5/ton, up 79.0 RMB/ton or 1.9% from the previous period.
The price of ordinary medium plate was 4215.9 RMB/ton, up 41.3 RMB/ton or 1.0% from the previous period.
The price of hot-rolled ordinary sheet steel was 4166.3 RMB/ton, up 36.4 RMB/ton or 0.9% from the previous period.
The price of seamless steel pipe was 4979.2 RMB/ton, up 16.7 RMB/ton or 0.3% from the previous period.
The price of angle steel was 4362.5 RMB/ton, up 34.1 RMB/ton or 0.8% from the previous period.
