The average price in Shandong market at the beginning of the week was about 1,062 RMB/ton, and the average market price in Shandong at the weekend was 1,174 RMB/ton, the price increased by 10.55%, and the price increased by 6.97% compared with the same period last year.

The mainstream ex-factory quotation of 32% liquid caustic soda in Hebei was around 1,100-1,200 RMB/ton. Affected by the maintenance of major enterprises, 32% of liquid caustic soda in Shandong rose strongly. And as the National Day holiday was approaching, downstream companies stocked up, and the transaction atmosphere was better than the previous period. On the export side, the increase in export orders was good for caustic soda.
