According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of September 19, the average price of propylene oxide in propylene oxide enterprises was 10,066.67 RMB/ton, down 2.27% compared with the price of last Wednesday (September 14), an increase of 11.85% compared with the price on August 19, and a decline of 8.76% in a three-month cycle.

Analysis review

The recent (9.14-9.19) propylene oxide market fell. Recently, the market price of raw material propylene has risen, and the cost support has been strengthened. From the 14th, although the supply-side inventory accumulated slightly but was temporarily controllable, the demand side was flat, just followed up on demand, the downstream purchasing sentiment was not high, and mainly wait-and-see cautiously. On the 19th, the mainstream quotation of the propylene oxide market in Shandong was lowered to around 9,950-10,100 RMB/ton. Some installations on the supply side recovered, and the demand side was still flat, waiting and seeing.

Upstream propylene, according to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the domestic propylene (Shandong) market price continued to rise this week (9.12-9.16). The average price of propylene in the Shandong market at the beginning of the week was 7,320 RMB/ton, and the average weekend price was 7,434 RMB/ton, a weekly increase of 1.56%. Compared with the 30 days ago, it increased by 3.77%.

Downstream propylene glycol, according to the monitoring data of SunSirs, on September 16, the reference price of propylene glycol was 10,166.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 9.91% compared with September 1 (9,250.00 RMB/ton).
