According to the statistics of SunSirs, this week, the seamless tube was mainly weak and stable. As of the weekend, the price of 20#, 108*4.5 seamless tube was 5,162.5 RMB/ton, down 0.24% from 5,175 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week, and down 17.5% year-on-year.
Analysis review
Upstream tube billet, the price of upstream tube billet was generally stable this week, with sporadic adjustments. Among them, Dongfang 20# hot rolling was stable, Luli 20# hot rolling increased by 80 RMB/ton compared with last week, and Wenfeng 20# continuous casting decreased by 50 RMB/ton.
This week, the operating rate of mainstream tube factories rebounded slightly, and at the same time, due to the influence of the futures market, the transaction of seamless tubes was improving, so the inventory decreased slightly. The tube factory was not optimistic about the later expectations, so the price adjustment was more cautious, and the tube factory with high inventory also took the opportunity to reduce the warehouse. As the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching, the purchaser had an appropriate stocking plan, and there might be an increase in short-term demand, but the overall demand was general and the peak season was not prosperous
